Shri. Desh Deshpande
Gururaj “Desh” Deshpande is the President and Chairman of Sparta Group LLC, a family investment office and is also the Chairman of Tejas Networks.
Dr. Deshpande has pursued an entrepreneurial career for the last three decades. He is involved either as the founder, a founding investor or chairman of several companies including Cascade Communications, Sycamore Networks, Coral Networks, Tejas Networks, Cimaron, Webdialogs, Airvana, Sandstone Capital, A123 Systems and Curata.
He has been instrumental in setting up TiE Hubli. He has created an enabling environment for Entrepreneurs in this area and has been helping them to scale up and prosper.
Shri. Vijay Sankeshwar
Vijay Sankeshwar is the chairman of India’s largest logistics firm VRL Group and is also known for being the owner of the largest fleet of commercial vehicles in India.
From a very humble beginning VRL today has grown into a nationally renowned logistics and transport company. VRL finds mention in the Limca Book of Record as the largest fleet owner of commercial vehicles in India in the Private Sector.
Vijay Sankeshwar was also a former Member of Parliament from North Dharwad constituency as a BJP member.
He is a great Mentor for budding entrepreneurs and is a member of Advisory Board of TiE Hubli.
Shri. Arvind Bellad
Arvind C. Bellad the Managing Director of the firm. He holds PGDM in Business Management from Instead, France and a Bachelor of Engineering from Dharwad University, Arvind Bellad is a member of Legislative Assembly of Karnataka, representing Hubli-Dharwad West since 2013 from BJP. Arvind Bellad has been an active member of TiE since its inception and has actively participated towards success of TiE Hubli.
He has joined the business in 1991, and today Bellad group is dealing with HMT Tractor, Chevrolet, and Hyundai cars, Hero Motors, Ashok Leyland and Sony. While the major focus continues to be Automobile Dealership, he has also diversified the Group’s interest into other business into Electronic Appliances, Power Generation, and Construction & Real Estate.
