Havenow Foodtech
Havenow Foodtech is a startup focused on bringing the traditional and regional Indian food products into mainstream Fast Moving Consumer Goods(FMCG). Our business model is based on the social idea to collaborate with rural women, use their skill set to manufacture food products and empower them economically. Havenow was started by two engineers with seed grant of 1 Lakh, awarded by Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus during TIECON Hubli, with which they went on to make 19 Lakhs in their first year, now they have range of food products which are sold in retail stores across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, along with Pan India e-commerce operations. They are also part of NSRCEL, IIM-Bangalore and KLE CTIE.
